On a semi private cruise you will be sharing the yacht with other guests, while on a private you and your company have it for yourselves.
In order to confirm your booking, a deposit of 20% of the total reservation cost is required. The rest of the amount will be paid the day of the tour either with cash or with a credit card. The deposit of 20% will not be redunded.
The maximum capacity of our yacht is up to 10 guests, without including the boat crew.
Having experience on a sailing boat is not necessary to enjoy the cruise with us. In case of any stomach sensitivity, please let us know and we will take care of it.
The only things that you might need to have with you on board are your sun protection, hat and sunglasses. Towels are provided, snorkeling equipment and jackets. Additionally, please kindly have with you a copy or a mobile photo of your passports, in case of check by the Greek port police authorities.
The cruise begins and ends at Vlychada port.
Our usual meal is seafood prepared on the spot, such as pasta with shrimps etc.
In case you advise us by the time you book your cruise, we will prepare an appropriate meal for you.
Please note that drinks such as wine and beer are being offered complimentary from the crew on board under a moderate consumption and within alcohol safety limits, as per the Greek sea law for travelers on board organized sea excursions. Boarding of intoxicated guests will not be allowed on this trip for safety issues.
Travel insurance is not included for this trip. We highly recommend purchasing a personal travel insurance before taking this tour which may cover your travels/tours for any unforeseen event such as illness or travel delays beyond your control. Please note that 48 hours or less prior of the scheduled departure or for NON-SHOWS, your tour is non-refundable whereas a travel insurance may cover issues of illness, travel delays that could cause you to cancel/miss your departure.
The port (Vlychada marina) where this sailing cruise starts may be a 30-45 min drive from your Hotel, depending its location of your accommodation. The sailing cruise shuttle may stop at various local hotels to pick up and drop off other guests along the way in case it is a semi-private cruise. Depending weather conditions the final itinerary may differ from the original in a continuous effort to offer the best possible service / experience on the water to all of our guests.
In case you are able to, Greece is one of the safest countries to swim. Please informed the crew for your swimming capability and follow their suggestions. Also life jackets for non-swimmers are available.
During our cruise we do stops for swimming but of course if you want you can stay onboard and enjoy the views! There is seating available so that you are comfortable (not too low seat). Also our crew is always there to assist you in any way we can to get on & off board and also we can facilitate you in any way we can during our cruise!
When we stop for swimming our guests get in the water from the back of the boat .There is a swimming ladder that has 3 steps.The access is very easy & a member of our crew is always there to assist all guests in any way.
Please note that the cruise ship port is not accessible by car. However, we can pick you up from the spot where the cable car leaves you & then transfer you to our yacht.
We cannot pick you up directly from the port where the line boat drops you off, in order to avoid any prolonged delay, since it is very busy during the cruise ship arrival.
Children are accepted , but it’s necessary to have their parents attendance. There are special life-jackets for their safety. They can watch kid’s movies during the cruise. Also we have special price for infants (0 – 2 yrs free of charge) and children (4 – 12 yrs 50 % discount).
